Virgin from London Gatwick

Has anyone used / heard any reports (good or bad) about the Twilight Check In at Gatwick ? We're flying Virgin this next time and wondering if the service is useful.
Also, DownTown Disney Check In on return - is it operating following September 11th ?

I believe it was suspended after Sept 11th.

Still, regular checkin at Gatwick is normally pretty quick. I have flown Virgin with my family the last 3 years and every time we have only waited about 5 minutes from joining the queue to stepping up to the checkin desk.

Still no Downtown Disney check-in, but they do have the twilight check-in at Gatwick. You can check your bags, get boarding passes etc the night before your flight. You have to give them an address for where you're staying that night. Oh and remember to keep the stuff you need overnight with you.

I doubt they will ever re-open offsite check in, it's just too risky now.

Just to let you know the official word -
"Twighlight Check-in applies until further notice............Downtown Disney check-in..........suspended until further notice..........tragic events September 11th............HOWEVER, it is DUE to open again at the beginning of 2003"
So now we all know.
