hey, just a quick question

is it worth paying over 1000 pounds for 2 people to upgrade to premium economy or would it just be better to pay for the extra legroom, ive never been on a long haul flight and my husband has never flown before so not sure what to expect? ive heard about the v room at gatwick, is this avaiable for anyone to use and whats in there? any information would be very helpful. thankyou

I say yes. Look at it as not just leg room but no luggage fee, seating you don't have to share with anyone, dedicated check-in, dedicated service, etc.

Face it, those seats are really great.

We had the same problem as chose to pay the extra. If you are flying longer than three hours, the benefits are enormous. Especially if late in the day or at night. We're doing a redeye from west coast to east and experience has taught us the extra money spent on comfort is worth every penny. Just think how relaxed you'l be on arrival and ready to tackle the parks as opposed to having to recover from multiple hours in a cramped space.
