VIP Mickey Section at Fantasmic

I resently was told that we could get VIP Mickey section for Fantasmic! and was told to show up to the podium at least 20min before the show. I have never been to WDW and am wondering if I could get some location markers - where to look for the podium? Thanks.:wave:

i believe the mickey section is the one right in the middle of the theater. on the light poles at the top there are section markers. to get this section you will want to make sure to get there early. 20 mins will probably not cut it for there usually is a line started earlier then that.

the VIP section is usually off to the right when you enter the theater, that is usually roped off for he guests that had made dinner reservations with the fantasmic dining added.

I have never heard of VIP seating at Fantasmic. The closest thing is what the previous poster mentioned, the Fantasmic Dining Package, which gets you admission into the roped off area. Though you still have to be there 20-30 minutes ahead of time, and it's definitely not the dead-center Mickey section.
These dining packages also have to be booked in advance.

Even the extra-cost private dessert events are set up in one of the standing room areas at the back of the theater.

Thanks for this info - I will call back and ask for more details from the CM that I was talking to. This is helpful - as I couldn't find anything on line that helped - I think I will clarify with the CM to be sure all is good.:veryconfu

We got there about an hour before show time last October and the line already long. 20 minutes? Podium? Let us know what you find out

I've never heard of this either.
The only "VIP" section that I know about is the Fantasmic Dinner Package section, and even then that opens up closer to showtime.
Just be sure to find out about this BEFORE you go, because there is no podium I have ever seen, and 20 minutes won't get you a seat at Fantasmic. Don't bank your trip or seeing the show on this info. :wave:

This is a little different but I know one of the CMs that work at DHS and she was able to get us to sit VIP inside the mickey section, which is located right in the center and the vip section is the last two or three rows. Even though it was reserved, we still had to show up 40 minutes before the show and wait in line with everyone else.

But tell us what you find out! we didn't have to go to a podium because we knew someone.

Thanks to all for the help - I called the CM back and she reasured me that this is true and the podium she speaks of is at the top of the ramp of the entrance for Fantasmic and told me to call her if I have any trouble - which has statisfied my mind for now that all will be good - thanks again to everyone for the help.:ROFLOL:
