Villains... they're back....

Hey there everyone... just thought I'd drop a note to say that the villains in Disneyland are back and in force.
Spent most of Sunday running through just Disneyland trying to get some stuff taken care of prior to my departure for 2 weeks to WDW and one of the key items are getting photos of the villains. So here's who is out now:
Stromboli
Foulfellow
Gideon
Jafar w/ Iago
Gov. Ratcliffe
Judge Frollo
Big Bad Wolf
Cruella de Vil
The Queen (she doesn't like to be called the Evil Queen)

and coming soon will be:
Hades
Shan Yu
Maleficent
The Old Hag (no idea what they call her)

for now you can find these villains roaming around Town Square but will soon be moving up to the Small World Mall area known are Character Corner/Character Walk...

oh yeah... they're only out until Halloween and then they disappear to their respective lairs for at least another year.

well, I guess they are appropriate for this time of year, but darn I was hoping they'd be around during the summer!

Villians Village....

I wish they would build an area like ToonTown for the Villians and call it Villians Village or something along those lines. The Villians really have a huge following, it would be cool to have an area decated to them only.

don't we all wish there was just a villains area of the parks...

but I know the propsed 3rd park had several ideas being tossed arund and one, if I recall correctly, would have been themed more around the villains. Perhaps that was just wishful thinking on someone's part... but I think it was actually coming from somewhere a bit higher up than a bunch of pimply-faced geeks chatting on Usenet...

toonfinder - I know you said they would only be out until around Halloween, but how long around Halloween? I know 2 families who are going to DL on Nov. 8th, just wondering if they'll get a chance to see them.

hockeymom: the last day for the villains at DL will be the 31st of October. I was thinking that they might be around at least for that weekend after Halloween but I'm hearing from a few folks in CA that this is not going to be the case.
But the two families can always check out the villains that were out over on my site (shameless plug!!!!)...

For those people visiting WDW, the meet and greet area in Fantasy land is exclusively for villaisn. now. At least they were when I was there in September.
