Villains Park

I am rather new to the boards, and I noticed in the "New Parks" section that there could have been a possiblity for a Villains Park at the WDW resort.
HOW INCREDIBLY COOL WOULD THAT BE! -- I mean, there are ENDLESS possibilites!

I think if it ever happened (and it is something i have thought about before) that it should be a "run down" Disney-fied clone of the Magic Kingdom.

The Story/Stories...
1. The Villains have actually "taken over."
2. A Villain's Dream
3. An Evil Spell has been thrown over the park by Maleificent.

Lets say Maleificent threw an evil spell over the Magic Kingdom, here is my rundown for the park...

Main Street would have all the exact same buildings, but everyone walking around would be in character like the Haunted Mansion... Cobwebs hanging in the stores, everything rusty looking, needs new paint job, almost like Main Street falling apart (or your normal day at six flags...JUST KIDDING)

Maleificent has taken over Cinderella's castle, and there are vines growing all over it and it is dark and evil looking...She has invited all of her "villaneous" friends over to inhabit the park...

The villains have turned all the themes lands into their own, rather comedic, style...this will not be like a haunted house, rather a funny adaptation of the Magic Kingdom...

Sheer Kahn and Scar now have made Tomorrowland into a FRIGHTENING JUNGLE -- Anyone want to ride the "WildaBeast" coaster?

OH NO, the villains have taken over Toon Town, and boarded everything up, now they all live in our resident toons places and keep DIRTY HOUSE!

It is a shame that Jafaar and Ursula have taken Fantasyland and turned it into NightMare Scare. (but this place is still kid friendly)
I think it would be hilarious to say that all the "good guys" have been forced to replace all the kids in "Its a Small World" and you ride through the ride and see Mickey and the gang as well as all your disney favs. under a spell singing It's a Small World After all....(maybe)

Captain Hook has renovated Splash Mountain into his humble hideaway And his ship is parked outside, but this log flume ride is now in collaboration with Yzma (from Emperor's New Groove,) and they love to send you flying down the mountain, BACKWARDS through and animatronically filled verson of splash, only with villains, but STILL FUNNY - like the villains could be clumsy and stuff...i don't know if i am making sense?

Cruella, The Witch (from snow white) and Frollo (hunchback) have redone Liberty Square and the Haunted mansion is now REALLY haunted...

Chernabog (fantasia) now stays inside Big Thunder and often is the Ghost with the Most hosting skills for his ghouly party.

There are no day parades, because we all know that Villains like the night, so the nighttime parade, or LightMare would be better than any Disney parade with GREAT MUSIC, TONS OF FiberOptics, and enouhg Fog to cover Main Street... The villains should get their own park... dont you think?

I like the general concept but I think the park should not be based off of MK, it should be designed off a hypothetical world of Villains from the ground up

FigmentDream is right you really shouldn't base it on the MK.

I agree. It would bother me to be in a run down MK. A villian park would be fun, but I'm concerned that families with young children would steer away from it. In other words, there would be one park where many people would skip. That sounds like a bad business idea. Maybe a section could be added to a park to be villian themed instead? I do like this idea, and it sounds like loads of fun.

maybe then disney should make a pretty much "teen-age through adult park" and collide the Coaster Kingdom with the Villains themes - and this park's sole dedication would be to beat the crap out of IOA. And you know put a few dark rides and kiddie rides in, because a lot of kids would enjoy this too, if the theming is made more villain comical than villain scary...

The concept isn't good for families with small children. I think that Fantasyland should be the only land untouched, yet it has become the HQ for a group of disney characters acting as freedom fighters: Mickey as the leader with the other fab 5 members, the Pooh crew, toy story characters and other good disney characters.

no- the concept is totally not my idea... i stated in the original post that i read this on the rumors board - this is just " my idea " of how the park would feel and look...

T1nker_Bell can you explain more about the Shere Kahn coaster. I haven't herd of most of these rumors. Maybe it's because the site is from 1999.
