Villains/Fantasmic E-ticket MK

I never understood the "Villain Mountain" concept. I wouldnt understand how one would end the ride as the villains surely cannot win. I have devised a concept that will sadly see the removal of "its a small world' in MK and "Fantasmic!" at DHS. Reasons being space and redundancey respectively.
The ride will be where the current IASW and Village Haus are now. The Show building would be pushd back and approx 50ft to allow for an easier flow of traffic as well as castle walls. the queu will start directly outside of castle walls and into a small curved forest path. the path leads to a cave that leads the guest under ground (having part of the show building under ground to reduce height and sight lines)

ill get to the rest in a later post

oh, i see. well perhaps my idea may differe a bit from yous.

the premise of the ride is that The Magic Mirror has the idea for the "evilist of villains: to band together to take over the magic kingdom. The Queen falls in love with the idea and begins stiring a potion into her couldron - one that she hopes to combine the power of all of the villains together to awaken and increas the power of Chernabog (or maleficent in dragon form. havent decided). Guest pass through segments featuring Jafar, Dr. Facilier, Hades, Frollo, and Maleficent, each of whom will lend power to the Queen's couldron.

At the climax of the ride, the villains would find out they've been spied on and guest will come face-to-face with Chernabog/Dragon. As they inch closer and closer, non other than Yen Sid comes to combat the dragon and attempt to save the guest. the roller coaster then being with twist and turns as well as fire effects throughout the ride. Yensid will learn that it is too risky for guest to be near the battle and conjure a spell to escort them to safety as the beast is vanquished.

Feats of the ride:
-Multiple terrains (the ride will star out appearing as a boat,)
-Drop to hell (befor the Hades segment of the ride, the coaster - still moving at omnimover speed will have a free fall drop"
-change in speed between segments
-car rotates on an axis so that guest can better view the sceens
-Fire effects blazing durring coaster segment
-animatronic figured of disney villains

I love it! Should you bring Mickey in this ride as well?

I originally thought about that. in fact i thought so much of it that i had the idea of a dueling darkride/coaster("imagination" being mickey's side and "Nightmare" being villains side. However, that idea makes the story telling for mickey's side seem uneven with the other. There was also the matter of children. This ride is, at the end of the day, an E-ticket roller coaster and with it being based mainly on villains, i think it should go a little "darker" and eerier than a ride like the Haunted Mansion. So if parents with children see or hear that Mickey is heavily involved, they'll believe that its a campy ride that they can take small children on not knowing that some elements can truely scare them.

That is why I put Yen Sid in Mickey's place. He wouldnt be as important for kids to see and he's, in a sense, a lot more powerful than Mickey is. (i also didnt want a carbon copy of Fantasmic)

At the end of the ride, I imagine guest exiting through Yen Sid's tower, which serves as the base of operations for Disney's spell binders (Fairy God Mother, 3 good fairy's, Merlin, Blue Fairy etc) where guest can occasionally meet all of the characters mentioned above and Sorceror Mickey on occasion

After hearing this "Villain Mountain" idea multiple ideas, I thought this had to be a legitimate idea. Turns out I was write.

Here it is: bonafide proof that Villain attractions are passed around!

Why For haven't the Imagineers built more rides, shows and attractions around the Disney Villains?
To be completely honest with you, I didnt know how many similarities my attraction had with the villain mountain concept. Obviously mine differs but still very cool. I would have loved using Ursula in the attraction, bu with her featured right next door it would seem like too much

Ya the original concept was Minnie gets captured by a group of villains and its up to Mickey to rescue her. It was suppose to use the water coaster technology! I have always wanted this attraction. I want a Villains land in MK. Take out the speedway and build outside the train track ( there is room for expansion there) add in a villains restaurant and gift shop. And 2 small dark rides. I've always wanted a 101 Dalmatians ride where u try to capture the puppies and u Ride around in cruella's car! Also a malificent dark ride would be awesome!

A villains land would be intersting indeed. My only only problem is the sightlines that could possibly been seen from dumbo. in terms of 101 Dalmations, i've actually thought of that too, however i havent quite nailed a story. it would do in DHS though. Somewhere around the animation courtyard, not MK

I think that Villain Mountain is perfect ride in DHS and Including Fantasmic! Maybe the Phantom Blot tied up Mickey in his dreams in Fantasmic!

I think a villain ride concept could fit in Hollywood Studios' Sunset Boulevard. It could be where the Beauty and The Beast Stage Show is and where the Fantasmic show is.

Do you think that'd be a good place for it?

I dont think it would be as forboding and creepy etc if it was at DHS. ("roaming to the outer edges of fantasyland where the villains lurk in the shadows ploting to take over the magic kingdom" vs "down sunset boulavard where the villains happen to be at a studio trying to take over the studio") i think in this particular place, the attraction can definately be enhanced by its location and would help tell its story a bit better. It is also this particular reasons that i picked certain villains to be present as they all have a mystical, and pure evil approach to them (Hades and Dr. Facilier would add slight moments of comic relief but would resume to be evil. And Frollo, though he doesnt have any super natural elemets to him, his heart of hatred and powerful "Hellfire" score are what got him into the ride) This is why villains like Cruella Deville, General Ratcliffe, Clayton, etc didnt make it in. They just didnt have as powerful of impacts. (Ursula would be eligible however she's present in AUA. Hook looks more of a fool being outsmarted by Peter and is in PPF)

I know what am going to say next will com under fire, and for good reason. As a result of this ride opening at MK, Fantasmic may have to come to a close. Now that ive had time to think about what would replace the show..... (http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/what-to-possibly-replace-fantasmic-with.851137/)
