Villa Views at Boardwalk Advice!

We will be staying at Boardwalk during our next trip, however we are conflicted on the villa choice. Has anyone stayed at Boardwalk villas with a view of the boardwalk?? Typically, we request a 2 bedroom pool view and have had easy access (luckily) right to the pool. However this year we were thinking of switching it up. How easy is it to request this, as well as how good are the views?

The view is breathtaking.
Last December we went to the Bay Lake with the Magic Kingdom view, while it was nice and all, we regretted it. The views of the Boardwalk is right there literally a few feet away from your balcony, while the others are too far out.

But it all depends on your preference.

I don't have a LOT of experience at the Boardwalk (just one night in fact) but it was enough to convince us to stay there again next year. One caveat, if you turn in early/are a light sleeper, just know that the boardwalk can stay quite active (i.e. Loud) well into the wee hours.
But the views....

@RyPat , you take amazing pictures! I'm always happy when I stumble upon one of your beautiful posts :)

OP- if you're paying cash at The Boardwalk Villas, there's only one rate category for view so you can't specifically reserve boardwalk view. We have requested it twice when paying cash but both times we were on the opposite side of the building. We've always had a pleasant view, none the less. If you're using DVC points the number needed is higher for boardwalk view and in that case you will definitely have boardwalk view because you specifically booked it.
