Viewing Illuminations

I have been going to Illuminations: Reflections of Earth each year since it started in 1999, and just this year I noticed that the ideal spot for seeing the show is right in front of the entrance to World Showcase. I know that you can see the show from anywhere around the lagoon, but it wasn't till my trip this year that I saw the show from the front, and everything is symetric! From a different point around the lagoon, you see fireworks and fire and stuff, but it doesn't seem to be set up in any certain way. But from the front, it is much different. It is hard to explain if you don't know what I am talking about, but I think it looks much better if you watch it from the front, providing you get a spot early enough! It shouldn't be too hard to get a spot there if you are willing to miss the Tapestry of Dreams parade, because it doesn't come around there, and everyone else will be going further into WS to see it.

I suppose because that's where the fireworks and smoke would be the closest to the audience. I'v never been able to get that close to the lagoon from that perspective, though. I stood more around the walkway inbetween Future World and World Showcase. it was still an ok spot.

it's the closest you can get to the Earth Barge (literally--measured in feet) and everyone has to sit down there. I have gone there for the past two years...but shhhhh! Very few people know about it! Most people grab a seat an hour and a half early, but you can show up there 20 minutes early, sprint, and get a great seat! There are two other points around the lagoon with the exact same symmetrical viewing. It has to do with where the lasers come from--it's all tilted 60º from the past IllumiNations shows....so like...across from American Adventure, Norway, and the Canada are now the best (dunno if I have the exact countries right, but you get the idea).
