videos and mac

Hi,

I've been trying to watch videos on my mac. When I click on a video, it opens up my latest version WMP, but then says that "Windows Media Player cannot play this file, because the Player does not support this file format."

What am I missing that can solve this problem?

ok, MACs are an alien concept to me, but I'll take a stab at it. first off, where are the videos from? Is there a divx codec for macs?

As mentioned, it sounds like you need to install the proper codec for the file to play... One of the most common codecs is Divx which does have a Mac codec

Thanks, guys. What I've discovered is I can download the link (right click)from the videos here on the site and it will work, but the direct link doesn't work. Strange.
