Video Camera Voltage

I am visiting WDW in September and would like to use a Video Camera. Voltage in the UK is 240v and I understand USA voltage is only 110v. How can I charge my batteries?.

Just take a convertor adapator plug especially for USA with you, the same one will be needed for your Iron, Hairdryer, Curling tongs,Kettle,CD player etc. Just remeber that the one you use for Europe will not work. You can buy them in most major supermarkets, electrical stores etc, or if you forget you can always get one at the airport. We tend to take a couple sowe can use more than one electrical item at a time

Remember that it isnt just the physical plug shape that is different.

Your appliance needs to be multi-voltage - i.e. operate at both 110v and 240v, and at both 50 and 60Hz. You will then also need the physical pin convertor so you can stick the plug in the wall.

Most video camera chargers are multi-voltage. You can check on the back plate for the rating.
