Victoria & Alberts

Hi Folks

My wife and I have eaten at Victoria and Alberts on our previous two trips to the world. Enjoying the 7 course set menu with of course the wine pairing.

My Questions are;

How much does the meal in Queen Victoria room cost as I can only find the additional cost for the wine pairing of $105 each.

If we wanted to do the Chefs table would it be only the two of us or would there be another group there? I know that its only for 10 people. I'm curious as if its the same price for only 2 as it is for 10 people?

Have a magical day folks!!

Dining Room = $135 + $65 for wine pairings
Queen Victoria and Chef's Table = $210 + $105 for wine pairings

I can't answer your question about the Chef's table. The cost is per person, but I don't know if you were just a party of 2, if they would seat another party of two with you. I highly doubt it, but I do not know for sure.

My wife and I dined at the Chef's Table a few months ago. They do NOT seat anyone else with you. When you reserve the Chef's Table, it is for your party, no matter the number of guests. Oh, and it is an experience that you will never forget!!!!

If you don't mind me asking. How much was the chefs table and how long in advance did you have to book it?

Is the wine pairing requires for the Queens and Chefs table? My husband and I would like to do this but do not care for wine.

No, the wine pairing is not required, that is why it is priced separately.

"
Seating
Only one party per evening is seated. Table size can accommodate up to 10 people, but reservations can be made for parties as small as 2. Reservations are required and can be made up to 180 days in advance. Guests ages 10 and older are invited to dine at this establishment. Valet Parking available at no additional cost.

Pricing
Although subject to change, the Prix Fixe begins at $210.00 per Guest; wine pairings from $105.00 per Guest. (Pricing does not include tax and gratuity.)"

In other words, without wine, dinner for 2 at the Chef's table would be $420 plus tax and gratuity. Wine would add another $210 to the total before tax and tip.

The Prix Fixe is actually $135 for a seven course meal as quoted above.
The Queen Victoria Room is a 10 course meal for $210.
Chefs table... 13 courses i think. Cost unknown as yet. Awaiting Luvthegoof to answer

Actually, we initially called at the 180 day mark to book a table in Queen Victoria's room, just to be sure, since it was our anniversary. We had eaten in the main dining room already, and wanted to try something different. The really nice CM (wish I could remember her name) stated that the Chef's Table was open, cost the same, and would we prefer that? Of course, we said YES!

The cost, with the wine pairing, was $315 per person. It is a 10 course meal, with 3 bread courses, Amuse Bouche, and coffee (and of course, several wines). Well, add in the 20% tip and tax, and, it isn't cheap, or for everyone! You also get personal attention from the Chef (Amy, in our case, it was Chef Scott's day off) for every course. Do we think it is worth it? It is for us. Will we do it again? Without a doubt!

We said that the main dining room was a "once in a lifetime" event. That was until last year when we went back with the in-laws. Had to do the dining room again.

We actually have enough time to save up for either Queen Victoria Room or if we are lucky get the Chefs table just for the two of us.

The Chef's Table books quickly.

Remember, it is ONE table. If you want it on a popular night (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) then call at 180 days out. If you want it on a less popular night, then you may be able to get it at 179 days out, maybe.

I tried to reserve the main dining room for the Nov 6,7,8 weekend last week and there was very limited availability (none on Sat, and I think only second seating on Thurs and Friday)
