Has anyone eaten at the Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria in Epcot? Is it good for children 8 & 9 yr olds?
My 6 year old loved the spaghetti and meatballs! I could see all three of mine complaining about the pizza though, it doesn't have as much "stuff" on it as the pizzas they are used to!Has anyone eaten at the Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria in Epcot? Is it good for children 8 & 9 yr olds?
It is on the regular menu and the kids' menu.Thats good. We are from NJ so we have some really great Pizza here but the spaghetti and meatballs was something I did not even think of. Is that a child's menu item ?
I would have hands-down agreed with you, until I took my 9 year old niece in November, 2012.Yes. Kids will love it. I mean, it is Pizza!
The food is quite good, and it is certainly the best pizza you will find on property.
My daughter likes to make pizza from scratch...and we do it with a similar thin crust baked on a stone in the oven, so I guess she's just used to that style. She didn't have any issues with the food at all.I would have hands-down agreed with you, until I took my 9 year old niece in November, 2012.
Unfortunately, it wasn't the crap she is accustomed to, and she found it way too greasy (well duh, 4 cheese!) and too thin-crusted. She also complained it was "burnt".
A year later, her 11 year old brother enjoyed it infinitely more.
I have boys. They have yet to meet a pizza they didn't like.My daughter likes to make pizza from scratch...and we do it with a similar thin crust baked on a stone in the oven, so I guess she's just used to that style. She didn't have any issues with the food at all.
Every kid is different though!
That's what I was going to say. It's my favorite 1-credit Table Service on property (tied with Sanaa) but I don't know that kids would like the pizza there. I don't think 8-9 year-old me would have, as I was more accustomed to Pizza Hut at the time (thicker crust, more cheese compared to Via Napoli's thin crust that is slightly burned with less cheese on the pepperoni).I would have hands-down agreed with you, until I took my 9 year old niece in November, 2012.

Coming from Brooklyn, my opinion is its a surprisingly good wood-fire pizza. For anyone thats ever been here its very similar to what they serve at Grimaldis. We're going back in Feb and made a reservation
