Very impressed by the food at Flower and Garden this year!

After being somewhat underwhelmed by the food serviced during the food and wine festival last year, I think Disney hit it out of the park with the food offerings this year! I'd say 11 of 12 of the things we tried were either really good or great with only one being meh. I'm really happy to see this and sad that the next time we go to WDW there will be no festival going on.

What were your top picks this year?
Yes please do tell!!

Our favorites:
  • Beef Brisket Burnt Ends and Smoked Pork Belly Slider with Garlic Sausage, Chorizo, Cheddar Fondue and House-made Pickle
  • Beef Brisket Burnt Ends Hash with White Cheddar Fondue and Pickled Jalapeños
  • Honey Tandoori Chicken Flatbread with White Cheddar Cheese, Charred Vegetables, Clover Honey Sour Cream and Micro Watercress
  • Pear Cider-brined Shredded Corned Beef with Braised Cabbage, Pears and Branston Dressing
  • Jamaican-braised Beef with Pigeon Pea Rice and Micro Cilantro
  • Chilaquiles: Chilaquiles served with Ranchera Sauce, Chorizo, Mexican Cream, and Cotija Cheese
  • Walnut Honey Baklava (my wife is allergic to pistachios so this is about the only Baklava she gets to enjoy)
  • Shipyard Maple Bacon Stout, Clearwater, FL
The duck gnocchi in France was good but not great, the maple popcorn shake was good but didn't need the popcorn, the honey wine again was good but not great and the beef tenderloin tips in Canada were tough and not recommended.

I'm really disappointed with the Italy menu this year. Was hoping for something like (or similar to) stuffed manicotti or chicken parmesan, which is what I've gotten in the past and they were both extremely delicious.
