Vero Beach

We have got a trip booked beginning 19th March and will be stopping first at Wilderness Lodge. We would love to spend a couple of days at the beach as we have not been before and whilst looking around I have discovered Disney's Vero Beach. Has anyone stayed here? What is it like? Any info appreciated. Thanks:wave: :wave:

It's very relaxing. It has it's own mini golf course near the pool. There are not too many dining options on property (two table service although one has limited hours and counter service by the pool). We go to Capt. Hiram's in Sebastian (a few miles north). There are a number of good places closer to the city of Vero Beach too. It's a two hour drive from WDW. We like the ocean view rooms in the main building.

We stayed for a week a few years back and really enjoyed it. If I remember correctly, it is about 2 hrs. from wdw. They have a great pool area with mini golf and bikes for rent. Have fun.
