Has anyone used the Verizon Wireless Disney Parks App on their phone while they are in the parks. If so did it work good. Was the ride wait times and FastPass times accurate. Overall what did you think.

Verizon Disney App

We were at the World in Dec and found the app useful but necessary. The app knew which park we were in and we able to query specific rides. You could only find out times for the park you were in. (If you were in Epcot and wondered about a ride in Studio you were out of luck.) The wait times were fairly accurate. We have visited the World many times and knew what we wanted to do and where thing were. The only thing we used the app for was determining where the shortest line was.

Anybody have any info when this will be released for Verizon's Blackberry phones?
As of yesterday the only info on that was "soon". They just released it for touchscreen phones (LG Dare etc) and Blackberry's and Droid's are coming soon.

Im running the Env2 and it wasnt out a month or so but was looking for something else last week and it was there. Does it give you the wait time in minutes when you are in the park and does it tell you the fast pass return time?

Haven't used it myself, but those are the features advertised for the program. It'll only give you the specific times for the park you are currently in. Outside of a park, you'll only get the generic "low demand" "high demand" etc that you can get on the mobile site.

I got the new blackberry tour a couple of months ago, and the WDW app. was one of the first things I downloaded.

I haven't been to the world since July, so I didn't have it then. But, even at home its cool. Gives you restaurant menus, etc. etc.

Can't wait to use it when I get there this Thanksgiving.

Are you sure it is the Disney Mobile Magic App? The reason I ask is BlackBerry is not supported. They have just added "touch" models, but I believe they still use the BREW os.
