Hi guys, my partner is a vegetarian and really struggled for choice on our last trip, we were on q.s.d (everything seemed to be meat based (not a problem for me i loved it lol)

Were going again later this year does anyone have any good tips on any good vegetarian options in the parks and or hotels and if so where etc?

I dont think i could convince her to have a turkey leg haha.

You kind sir are my hero! We walked for hours last time trying to find things for her. Thank you!
You should have an easier time on the next trip. It seems as though a vegan option is getting added to almost every menu. You can also order salads without the meat. About the only real problem you will have is if someone is a completely, no animals or animal products, (eg milk, cheese, eggs) vegetarian. If that is the case you will really need to do a good bit of homework before leaving.

No she eats fish most cheese etc. just not meat pretty much. She just got fustrated with the lack of choice and some places not having anything at all. But that list is a big help.

Just mention it when you are making dining reservations. Disney does a great job for people with special diets. Tangerine Cafe has some wonderful vegeterian selections. CHH has veggeterian chili and a light house sandwich. Lots of places that have burgers have veggie burgers no not all, AK 's Tamu Tamu has some new selections. You can eat at Disney vegeterian or vegan no major problem! A few places around the parks now have grilled veggie sandwiches. Good Luck!

Yes, I've had the grilled vegetable sandwiches at both Sunshine Seasons and Backlot Express and they were excellent. Most buffets will have several hot and cold vegetable choices as well as a salad bar.

I actually write a weekly blog on the matter! The pinterest page for it is here, and my homepage for it is here.

As for some general tips:
-I rely heavily on the Chili that littleroo has mentioned from CHH. It's on the menu already vegetarian, so it's ready to order and it's super cheap! Get a side of fries and/or steamed broccoli with it for a filling lunch.

-Any restaurant will accommodate your diet even if you want to make a special request. It's easiest to do at a Table Service location, but even at a Counter Service restaurant, just as the cast member at the podium to help you come up with a meal that fits your tastes.

- I like to plan ahead. Keep in mind specific things you want to eat everyday before you start your day so that you don't feel frustrated when you are hungry. For example, for a day in Magic Kingdom start out with breakfast at your resort with some Mickey Waffles and fruit. Know you are going to head over to quick service lunch at the new Be Our Guest for the Quinoa Salad Entree, then plan on Columbia Harbor house's chili for lunch!

-WDW's menus are always changing! Did you know Tamu Tamu Refreshments in AK just added a vegetarian option?! I wrote a blog post about it here.

Hope this helps! Sorry to have so many "plugs" for my blog, but I have so much information on the topic that it's easier to send you my links!!
