Do you think being a member of the DVC is a good value, or is it cheaper to just pay as you go?

Depends how often you go. For my family it's been a tremendous value. Particularly since we had roughly 6-7 years where we never had to pay for admission to the parks.

Yes, I guess your right. I would love to start to go once a year for a week with my husband, but not sure if thats going to happen. What is a "good" rate per point to pay?

For us it's a value because of the extra space...we can get a 2 bedroom unit with two bathrooms and a laundry room.
