For as often as I head to the world, I don't give many trip reports. I just felt that this day was especially noteworthy.
Animal Kingdom I got here before the park opened and was the first person to cross the bridge out of the Oasis. I was also the first person into Dinoland and first on Dinosaur. (CTX forever!!!) Then I went to Triceratop Spin. I stayed on for 3 rounds since there was no wait. After 30 minutes in the park, I left for "the other kingdom".
Magic Kingdom Rode on Wedway first. I got some good pictures of Space Mountain with the lights on... hopefully they turned out. stayed on for a second ride. Saw Timekeeper and CoP since they were opened a day early. Once again, I noticed people pointing out the twin towers in Timekeeper. Then rode the train around the park via Toontown station. Rode the carousel on the way to Haunted Mansion. The new HM tombstone was in place and looked AWESOME! Plenty of pictures here too. Got a fastpass for Big Thunder and went on Jungle Cruise while waiting. Had absolutely the BEST skipper. Went back to Fantasyland for a spin on the teacups. When it came time to use the fastpass, Splash Mountain was down. After Thunder (in the back, of course) I grabbed a quick lunch and saw the parade. For some reason, the princess float wasn't running. After the parade, I left the park. I bet you can't guess where I went after that....
Epcot When I got to the park, I headed straight for the passholder lounge. I spent a while relaxing, drinking hot Earl Grey tea, and drooling over pictures of Apolo Anton Ohno in the USA Today sports section. Every once in a while, the characters from the Garden Grill restaurant came up for a visit. Pluto tried to chase me away when he saw that I was dressed as a cat. Dale seemed to have a crush on me. After a second cup of tea, I left the lounge and went to Italy for Masquerade. Some (cough) "friends of friends" were in the show. I'm not going into detail about that. I then went to watch Tapestry. Once again, I won't make you listen to my mindless rambling. I went back to Italy for the last Masquerade of the night. I had to! A *friend of a friend* promised to dance with me during my song. (so I had a special valentine after all...:kiss: :animwink: ) I then went to say hello to my pals from Mo Rockin and to see the second Tapestry. After the parade, I went to the Boardwalk to see some friends. Thus, the end of my amazing day.
