I'm sure you all remember when Tebowing and Planking were popular internet fads. Well now, prepare to meet the newest meme sweeping the globe: Vadering

What is Vadering? you may be asking yourself. Vadering, just like it's predecessors, Tebowing & Planking, involves having a picture taken of you or your peers performing a pose in random locations. Unlike Tebowing & Planking, Vadering requires at least 2 participants. Here's how Vadering works:

Remember in the Star Wars films when Darth Vader would extend one arm, and use the Force to choke a victim? That is simply what Vadering is. One person stands while extending an arm and making a choke gesture with their hand. The other participant grasps his/her neck pretending to be choked by the Force. If you get creative, the second participant can leap, and be in mid-air when the picture is taken, as to appear being held aloft by the Force.

So get out there and start Vadering. Let's see who can submit the most creative Vader locations. Going to WDW soon? Why take a picture of your family standing in front of Cinderella Castle when they can be Vadering in front of Cinderella Castle? Family reunions, holidays, weddings...all are great opportunities to get a good Vadering shot. The grand prize for person(s) who posts the most creative Vadering picture here is self-respect & knowing they contributed to a completely nonsensical thread. Good luck...and may the Force be with you!

I thought about using the Partners statue at MK. Since Walt already has an arm extended, someone could stand in front as the "victim", making it appear as if Walt is Vadering. If the picture was taken from behind the statue with the "victim" facing the castle, it might look pretty convincing.

Hmm...possibilities.

Hey you changed your avatar! I kind of miss the Darth Potatohead or whatever you want to call it, but nice honor of Jackie Robinson and the MLB in general.:)
Thanks! Tomorrow is Robinson's tribute day when all the players from all the teams will wear 42 as their jersey. The new movie about him that just came out is supposed to be pretty good. I'm thinking about seeing it tomorrow (kinda fitting considering the day it is).

Let me know if you like it. I was considering going to see it. Though none of my friends are into baseball, so getting one to go with me should be interesting...
