Vacation Package Ticket Question

I've searched the internet and haven't been able to fully understand something regarding the tickets associated with a "vacation package" that is 3 days or longer.

Every site I've looked at (including the Walt Disney Travel Co page) only mentions a park hopper ticket as part of your package. Does this mean you get an automatic upgrade from the 1 park per day ticket to a park hopper by booking a package? I certainly don't remember this ever being the case in our WDW trips but I haven't been able to find a reference to the 1 park per day when researching info on DL packages. Thanks for the help.

With either Costco or directly with Disney you can get either type of ticket with your package. I assume that's true of other agencies as well.

That's what I would assume is correct also, it just seemed odd every site with "package" info describes the ticket a hopper souvenir ticket included.

If you book at Disneyland.com, you're given the option or a hopper or non-hopper ticket.
