How do other members feel about the service?

Old Key West is where we're members for several reasons:
1. It's absolutely beautiful and, while regular guests can pay cash to stay there, we don't share the facilities with a regular hotel, so to me, it feels the homiest.
2. It has the cheapest dues of all the DVCs on Disney property, but we can still use the other resorts (if we can get reservations, which as of yet has not been a problem).
3. My in-laws already owned there, so it made it easier for all of us to vacation together.
We simply adore the DVC!
Actually, guests can pay to stay at OKW. There is always some inventory that is sold through CRO due to members trading into other timeshares. Rooms that have not been booked are also released to CRO, I think about two weeks in advance. In the resorts that are not sold out, the inventory that has not been sold CANNOT be used by members using points and therefore is handled by CRO. As more of the resort is sold, more of the rooms are available with points and fewer are available through CRO.Actually, guests CANT pay to stay ay Old Key West, its DVC only
