Looking at going to the Orlando area in late November and would like to take my wife and kids (ages 10 - 7) to US for 1 day. Am I doing something wrong or is this the actual price of tickets? My oldest daughter is considered an adult so 3 adult + 1 child pass for the "Park-to-Park Tickets + Unlimited Express" is showing at $870 + tax. Is that right for a single day's admission?

That sounds about right for the unlimited express pass. Doing both parks in one day probably won't allow for many repeat rides, so I would suggest just the regular express pass which would get you into the $650+tax range.

If you are going early and/or staying late, you might be able to get by without the express pass which gets you down to the $500 range. You can also buy express at the park if you feel it is necessary that day.

You can also consider staying at one of the universal resorts for one night. This would automatically get you unlimited express on any tickets you buy.

If you're only going for one day, I recommend sticking to one park. This way, you also won't need Express in November. There goes a large chunk of your cost right there.

If you want to do both parks, you really ought to plan for two days. This will be more expensive overall, but a better value per day. You still won't need Express.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to talk to our travel agent to get some particulars. Just from building 2-3 day trips online it seems Uni has "hidden" fees that I'm not accustomed to. Things like if I stay at an on-property resort I still have to pay for parking?

Yes, you do have to pay for parking even if you stay on site. But you get early admission to the WWOHP and the free express pass if you stay on site. If you do NOT stay on property, I would not get the express pass in advance - you can decide if you want to buy it at any time during the day. Also, if you are limited to 1 day at Uni, unlike some others above, I think it is worth trying to squeeze in both parks if you are willing to run around a lot. There are so many highlights to hit at each one. Btw, I got my best price for Uni tickets through AAA (no mailing fees).
