Using websites to help plan the trip...

I found a website that helps you plan your visit to the parks each day. It seems kinda cool, because you tell the page which park you are attending on any given day, what time you plan to arrive, how late you plan to stay, note your dining reservations or any scheduled breaks/ times when you will leave and come back, and select all of the attractions you want to do while there. The site then generates a "schedule" for the day, recommends rides for which to use FP+, and "optimizes" your time in the parks.

Part of me thinks this is way too much planning for me to be on vacation... it comes back with an itemized list of where you should be when! I would much rather be able to take things at our own pace when possible. But, then again, it is a little neat to see what this program thinks the estimated wait times will be, since the site claims to use data that factors in the date of your visit.

This leads me to wonder if anyone else on here has used one of these sites, and if so, how accurate were the predictions? I haven't subscribed to this place with a pay membership... I'm just playing around with the basic options, but I do think this may be useful in helping me pick my FP+ rides and times.

Sounds like touringplans - I love it, and it doesn't make things as strict as you make it sound. Using their Lines mobile app, if you take a break, or change things on the fly, you just make a few taps on the app and re-optimize and go from there, it is very flexible.

It is Touringplans. I just wasn't sure if that was the kind of thing that I would be allowed to mention here or not... I'm still fairly new to these forums.

Didn't mean to make it sound super strict LOL... the plans it is creating come across that way, though, just by nature; they are literally down-to-the minute. Good to know that downloading the app will help me to navigate that once we get to the parks each day. :)

It can save you a ton of time, it's suggestions are very good.

Thanks! I'm having a little too much fun with it right now LOL... I'm still a few days away from being able to reserve my FP+ times, so this is at least making me feel like I'm coming up with a good plan on how to use those.
