Using Park Hopper and Base Tickets During Stay

Hi everyone! One of my friends is going to WDW this year and stumped me with this ideation- hoping you can help me out!

She was gifted a one-day park hopper ticket, and wants to purchase a one-day base ticket to have to have a total of two days in the parks. How would this work in the app? Can she add both tickets in advance? Will the system know she’s using the park hopper on day one and the base on day two?

Yes. She can go to guest services and they can prioritize one ticket over the other if she wants to use them in a specific order.
