Hey Gang,

I've got a multi-family trip coming up for xmas week and we've all developed a few questions regarding Genie+. I'll be traveling with my family, a second family who's staying on property at a Walt Disney World hotel and a third family who is staying off property (not at a WDW hotel). For the purposes of these questions, lets assume all three families have theme park tickets, reservations and Genie+ purchased for the entire trip.

First question
For Genie+ attractions, it is my understanding that one person in our three family group will be able to book Lightning Lane access to an attraction at 7AM - regardless of when the park opens. Correct?

Second question
For a la carte Lightning Lane purchases, it is my understanding that if you're staying off property - you have to wait until park opening before purchasing your a la carte Lightning Lane passes. However, could one of us in the two families staying on property purchase Lightning Lane access for all three families at 7am? if not, I see two options:
  1. The two families staying on property wait until park opening before purchasing lightning lane access for all three families....or
  2. The two families staying on property purchase their a la carte Lightning Lanes at 7AM and hope the third family can get similar Lightning Lane times at park opening.
Is there a third option I'm missing?

TIA!!!!

Same question for #2 - but if one of the families is staying at a "good neighbor" hotel, can they get a la carte (ILL) Lightning Lane at 7a?
Somewhat related - good neighbor hotel get the 30 min "early access" to parks?

I don’t think any of the non Disney resorts get to purchase ILLs at 7am (Swan, Dolphin and Shades of Green are counted as Disney escorts). No Disney Springs area resorts.

This is the list of non Disney resorts that get early entry, from the WDW website:
  • Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel
  • Walt Disney World Swan Hotel
  • Walt Disney World Swan Reserve
  • Shades of Green® on Walt Disney World® Resort
  • B Resort & Spa Lake Buena Vista
  • DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando
  • Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace
  • Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista
  • Holiday Inn Orlando
  • Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista
  • Wyndham Lake Buena Vista
  • Four Seasons Resort Orlando
  • Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek
  • Waldorf Astoria Orlando
