I just noticed the totals of people online now include a sub cat for robots.

Total: 498 (members: 79, guests: 386, robots: 33)

Forgive my ignorance, but what are robots and why should we differentiate them from guests?

Robots are the web spiders used by sites to crawl the web and index it. Think google, yahoo, etc.
