US Transplant Games in WDW

The US Transplant games are going to be held at WWoS the last week in June. Is there anyone on this board who will be attending?

My wife is going to be participating in the Bowling event. I was lucky enough to donate a kidney to her 4 years ago.

Do you get all the same sort of sports as usual? Please excuse my ignorance, but this sort of thing doesn't really get much coverage in the press.

There is Badminton, Basketball, Bowling, Cycling, Golf, 5k Race, Racquet Ball, Table Tennis, Swimming, Tennis, Track and Field and Volleyball. Each sport has age groups, under 20, 21-30,ect. THere will be 2000+ athletes there.

Kris Klug who won the Bronze medal at eh winter games will be there competing in cycling. It is to show that life goes on after having a transplant.
