US Apahe Helicopter down in Iraq

A U.s. Apache helicopter went down in Iraq this afternoon. Both passengers were reported okay. More info as it comes in.





Edit- It didn't actually go down. it reported taking enemy fire and took a hard landing. The helicopter was able to take off again and resume the mission.

Actually i heard that the helicopter was destroyed and could NOT take off because of damage. A fighter jet hit it with a bomb and destroyed it so Iraq couldn't use it's technology.

Things that happens in a war. BTW they confirmed in CNN that helicopter was going to be destroy so Iraq could'n get it. Crew is safe.

Actually, you're both right...2 helicopters went down..one last night, one today.

The one last night was blown up after it was abandoned and the one today was repaired and brought back to safety.

Both were mechanical failures.
