Upgrading tickets

So, on our last trip we went with a military family. So 3 of our tickets are military special. The 4th ticket we bought a 4 day FL resident ticket with water parks for $230. The cast member said we could upgrade that ticket to a FL res seasonal pass any time in the next 6 months.

Can this be done with the military tickets as well? I understand that the amount to upgrade will be different.

The 4-day FL resident tickets are good for 6 months. I believe the military tickets expire 14 days after first use, unless they somehow have the no-expiration option on them.
