I'm heading to DL Wednesday for the first time. I've seen a pic of the UP characters at DHS and think they're really cute. I'm sure they're at DL somewhere, but where?

Also, we need a quick snack either in the airport (john Wayne) or on property. Were taking a shuttle from the airport to DL Hotel and walking to meet someone at Casting. Any suggestions?

There's an UP pre-parade at DCA that comes out before the Pixar Play Parade. But that's it, unfortunately. We don't get a meet and greet like DHS.

John Wayne has the usual airport food stuff; average food and high prices. The restaurants are all on the secure terminal side, so if you need to get your bags after deplaning you won't be able to go back past security and eat at the airport.

At the Disneyland Hotel, there is an espresso bar near the pool that also has bakery items and snacks. Uva Bar in Downtown Disney is a five minute walk from the Disneyland Hotel pool area and has great burgers and food in a sit down casual environment.
