unusual vintage read along book

As a child I remember having Disney read along books that instead of having a separate record to play, each page contained an embedded yellow disc, it came with a small player that sat on top of the disc and with pressing a button would play the small record of the words on each page. I have probably done a terrible job describing this but the image haunts my memory and I am trying desparately to convince my spouse that I am not crazy. Any help with what these books were called would be greatly appreciated.

Not really sure if I can help but I think I know what you are talking about. Were the disks hard plastic with grooves and randomly placed dots or dashes on them?

Thanks for the reply, I don't think it had dots and dashes. It was like a small thin plastic disc glued to each page.

Yes. I kind of remember these. I didn't have one, but a friend did.
