I've heard about this but was trying to confirm that there is infact an asteroid prop at the top of the space mountain lift hill. The asteroid was installed as part of the 2005 rehab, replacing the old 1977 red satelite orb.
However the asteroid does....,,nothing. It has never been activated to make it look like there is an asteroid coming toward your vehicle?
Also, is it true that RockIt Mountain was to have atleast one loop in the rollercoaster track? I saw recent video of disneyland's space mountain with the lights on and not only can I see faintly see the asteroid, it looks like there's a looping track in there as well.
