Unrealistic Christmas week reservation + time + travel expectations?

We're heading to our second Disney World trip the week of Christmas. I'm relaxed in my expectations at the park vis-a-vis rides, attractions, ect. that week, but there are things that require reservations that I have doubts about being able to successfully work in.

Basically, I'd like you to confirm what I already suspect.

On December 23rd, I have made plans (no reservations as of yet) to attend (with my family of 3) Fantasmic! at 6:30 pm, then head straight for the exit to grab a bus to Wilderness Lodge for an 8:30 dinner reservation at Whispering Canyon, followed by a 10:00 pm sleigh ride reservation.

Between bus time, waiting for 15-20 minutes+ to be seated despite reservation and Whispering Canyon's hectic atmosphere, there's no way I'm going to be able to make all three of those things work at those times, is there? Thanks for any encouragement and/or reality checks!

Well first, if you grab a bus to Ft. Wilderness for an 8:30 dinner reservation at Whispering Canyon, you will probably miss dinner as Whispering Canyon is not at Ft. Wilderness.
I can't be a lot of help here as we avoid crowds like crazy and you could not pay me enough to go to WDW Christmas Week. Hope you have a safe and wonderful time and best of luck.

I'm thinking 1 and 3 is all that will fit into you itinerary. You should be able to grab a bite to eat (in between) but not a sit-down at Whispering Canyon.

Sorry, I meant Wilderness Lodge. Posted before coffee. Crowds don't bother us greatly, and we're judiciously visiting the parks, not expecting to get much done as far as attractions go. Mainly going for the resorts and atmosphere. Thanks for the luck, though, I'm sure we'll still need it!

For some reason hearing it from someone else made me realize that a sit-down dinner was the least important of the three, and that we'd be happy with a quick snack and the sleigh ride. Thanks!

You will have no problem getting to WC for dinner, but I would grab a cab as soon as you leave HS after Fantasmic. The show will be over by 7 pm, but it will be crowded and will take you about thirty minutes to walk to the parking/busing area. To be safe, Id grab a cab to WL. Im sure you can move your ADR up by 30 minutes if you do take a cab. As far as your sleigh ride (which by the way you do not want to miss), that might be tight. If you are seated by 830, you will need to be on the boat to FW at least by 945. Its a short boat ride and very short walk from the dock to the carriages, but you really are rushed a dinner. Its usually a solid 90 minutes to eat at WC. Best bet, take a cab from HS to WL, and try to move your ADR up at least 15 minutes. Good luck
