Unlimited Drink mugs?

I've seen pictures of the mugs but I was wondering do you have to be staying at the resort to qualify for the unlimited refills?

I think you can just buy them at a resort for like 15 bucks or so and then you are entitled to unlimited drinks for the QS restaurants at the resorts..but if you aren't staying at a resort, I don't really see the benefit of spending 15 buck for them cuz when are you going to be around to get the free refills?

You stay on site..you buy the mug ( unless its free ) you use it at the resort your staying at.Simples.However,people do carry them to other resorts or bring them back from previous years.

I hear, ahem, that some people reuse their mugs on different stays.

They are only good at the resort you bought them at and only for that stay(yes, people do cheat the system and you open a whole can of worms with that). You can't use them in the parks, so it wouldn't make much sense to buy them if you weren't staying at a resort, unless you just want it as a souvenir.
