Last night, I saw the show Blast at my local theater. I looked at the program in the coming soon shows. One of them was Spiderman Live! Universal is trying to copy Disney's talent for Broadway plays. Anyone have more info. on this?

What's new? ALL KINDS Of companies have followed (*and have tried to copy - sometimes DIRECTLY - i.e. Bear Country Jubillee, those theme parks in Asia*) Walt Disney's (and in this case, the Walt Disney Company's) creativity!

Just for the record, Spiderman is NOT a Universal property. Marvel just licensed the Marvel characters for use in Universal's theme parks. Another company probably picked up the rights for a touring show based on Spiderman.

I think it's a good thing! That means Disney is doing a good job and everyone else just wants to follow. Plus it's a free country aint it, Universal can do what ever it want (like make broadway style plays) they should also be able to do it with out people saying that they have copied Disney, last I checked Disney didn't start Broadway!

btw I love Blast, it is the best show I have ever seen!!!
