Universal Tours

I was just wondering if anyone has done any of these VIP tours. In your opinion would the (Universal OrlandoSM 1-Day/2-Park VIP Tour ($125.00 + tax per person*)
This six-hour tour gives priority entrance into some of our most popular attractions in both parks with a one-hour break in the middle.) be a worth while tour for us to do? We are only planning on going to Universal for 1 day but hitting both parks (15 rides in all). Appreciate any advice.

I did the tour a few years back. I wouldn't do it just to get priority seating on the rides. If you're interested in movie history, and want to see some things you might not notice, I would take the tour. If you just want to get on the rides quickly, Universal's Express Pass would be much more effective. I think maybe your expectations of hitting both parks in one day would be very taxing. I would consider choosing one park: Islands of Adventure. The Studios at Universal is equivocal to what you have already seen at the Disney-MGM Studios. Islands of Adventure is unique, and you would probably enjoy your time more if you didn't feel rushed. Just my opinion.

I really dont think you will enjoy Universal if you do most things at both parks in one day, way too much stress. I would either look at doing two days or just going to one park.

I disagree - we did both parks fine and had plenty of time to spare. I guess it depends when you go. As long as you're at IoA at opening, everything is pretty much walk-on and you finish the entire park in like 2-3 hours; 4 max.
