We now see the final area of Universal Studios Texas, Ports of America. Here, it recreates the United States' portside towns in the late 20th Century.
This area is split into three sections. The first one in a San Francisco area, which borders both Hollywood Boulevard and Classic Monster Village. Here, guests can eat at
Richter Burger, Ghiradeli Chocolate Co., Chinatown Express, and
Chez Alcatraz. In the area is also where guests can ride
Earthquake: The Big One, a cable car ride that quickly turns into a race to survive when a massive earthquake strikes. The ride exits into
San Francisco Traders.
The second area is an area based off of Amity Island, the fictional harbor town from
Jaws. The main attraction here is
Jaws: The Hunt. Here, guests board boats (ala Jungle Cruise) and go on a scenic tour of Ports of America and Classic Monster Village before running into the infamous shark itself. In the area is
Shark Bites as a dining stop as well as
Orca Essentials as a gift shop.
The last area is an area based off of Astoria, Oregon, the town seen in
The Goonies. Here, guests can eat Italian food at
Fertelli's Kitchen and shop at
Astoria Store. At the end of the area is
The Goonies and the Cavern of Secrets, a log flume based off of the film where guests go into the caves in search of One-Eye Willie's Treasure.
Goonie Goodies is a gift shop that the ride exits out of.
