Universal Studios & Island of Adv - Thanksgiving crowd

Hi,
We're planning to take our kids during Thanksgiving week and wondering if someone had visited this week in and past of how the crowd is? Do we necessary need the express pass? We plan to spend 3 days there with 2 boys (8&9). There is about $400 different b/w Cabana resort vs Royal Pacific (Mon-Wed), not sure if it is worth the difference. TIA.

It will be quite packed. You will definitely need express.

You will want the express and not single use one you can buy in the park, The Unlimited Express pass that comes with the room is worth at least $110 per person so if you have 4 that evens the field plus RPR is a much nicer hotel.

I'm staying at Pop Century and will be at Universal Monday and Tuesday the 23rd and 24th will it be horrible those 2 days also?

FL kids only go to school Mon and Tues that week- so many of us take them out all week for travel . The parks are hideous, but it is still a great time- unlimited EP is the ONLY way to go. All the holiday stuff will be up (not quite as decorated as WDW). The hotels have a nice dinner- recommend making reservations for that. It's amazing how dead it is the very next week.

Thanks! Unfortunately EP is not in the budget for this trip. I think we will just go and make the best of it and hit up all the single rider lines we can, and try to hit all the HP stuff early morning
