Universal Orlando Tickets - When and Where to Buy

My family is heading down to Universal Studios and Disney the last week of August. This will be our first visit for all of us to Universal Studios.

My question to you is, when is the best time to buy 4-park hopper 3-day passes to Universal Studios? They have a promotion on their website now for 3-day passes but you must use them in June. Do you know if they offer special promotions for ticket use during the end of August.

Is it best to buy direct from their website or are they some websites to get a better deal? A couple of the websites that I visited have their ticket prices higher than what it would be to buy direct from the Universal website.

No deals that I know of outside of Florida resident ones. Buy your tickets from AAA or Undercover Tourist, great deals there.

I stopped by AAA the other day and their ticket prices were higher than just buying it directly online from Universal.

I know a couple people in Florida. Can they buy the tickets for me or do they require identification in order to use the tickets when you get to Universal?

i thought about doing this too but my only relative that lived down in Florida moved back north

I priced it for last December and got the best deal from AAA. AAA did not have shipping fees but the Universal online price did, so it actually came out better through AAA. So pay attention to those hidden fees when you are trying to find the best deal. I've heard good things about Undercover Tourist too.
