Universal Orlando employees receive bonus checks

Universal Orlando is celebrating the success of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter by rewarding their employees. Universal spokeswoman Alyson Lundell said, "Thousands of team members across all areas of our destination received bonuses today (Thursday) - from back-of-house team members to those in direct contact with our guests."
Employees also received a letter from Universal Orlando President Bill Davis, thanking them for their hard work over the past year. The Wizarding World opened June 18, causing third quarter attendance at the park to jump by 36 percent, which adds up to an extra 1 million visitors.
Year-end attendance numbers have not yet been reported.
