For those of you who are seasoned vets in staying at UNI resorts, once the parks close, what is there to do on property besides eating and catching a movie for pre/early teen family? We've been to WDW a couple of times (POR) and know the offerings for evening entertainment (later hours for parks/DTD/other resort shows/etc).

I want to stay at a UNI resort this time but it seems like once the parks close (early evening in OCT when we are looking to visit) the only options are dinner, movie, or putt putt on property. Is there anything more to do after that?

Thanks

All the resorts have movies on the lawn or pools for kids. There is bowling at Cabana Bay. The pools are open late too. To be honest I was not pressed for things to do with my little ones.

CityWalk is a fun sightseer area. Mini golf is cool, and bowling is great at Cabana Bay.

Another good thing, for adults, Jake's Bar at Royal Pacific is open till around 2am, still serving food too!! Try finding that at a Disney Resort.

Sometimes they have Dj's and activities at the stage at CW. In front of Bubba Gump there's hula hoops, chalk, etc. Kids ALWAYS seem to be running through that fountain- even when it's freezing. We love the mini golf- it especially fun at night. The pools are usually the best place to be- if the parks are closed, the pools are LOADED with kids and activities. And there's something to be said for room service and an on demand movie to just relax for a bit :)
