It was reported today that the Blackstone group will be selling their 50% ownership of Universal. Comcast is obviously given first opportunity to purchase the Blackstone share. However, Comcast appears to be on the fence about this. They have until June to decide and they may look to sell off their portion as well. This could be nothing or it could get interesting. I believe the only interest Disney would show is if the high speed rail were to return and connect the parks. It's VERY unlikely Disney would come in but it would be AWESOME!!

Actually yes. Remember, most guests on property have no form of transportation other than Disney provided. Originally, high speed rail was going to connect Disney and Universal as well with a stop at each. It is unlikely Disney would want to run constant bus service from their resorts. Like I said, the whole thing is very VERY far fetched and a lot of wishful thinking but the door is slightly open. Unless Disney kept it as a separate entity which is doubtful bc then they'd be their own competition. Lol but most guests already think its a part of Disney.
