Universal Labor Council

I never thought I'd be saying this, but that place needs it, badly, especially in park operations. I've worked in both resorts for about a year now, and even though the pendulum may have swung in Universal's favor earlier this decade, they've given back all that they gained against Disney and then some. That's not to say that working at Disney is all that grand, but compared to Universal its like choosing between eating a mushy banana and eating cow dung.

Its really interesting that these are the same unions that represent Disney employees though. If Universal's employees vote in a union (and I honestly can't think of any reason why they won't. If I still worked out there I'd be joining with them in a second), it will greatly effect how both of these theme parks treat their employees.

Interesting times...

Finally, I've worked at Universal for almost 2 years and in that short time have seen employee moral crumble. This needs to happen so management realizes what they are doing.
