Hi all, Im sorry if this has been asked before, I couldn't find anything!

I haven't been to Universal since 1995! And Ill be returning this Sept! I wanted to know is it worth it to make two seperate days of each park or should we do both parks in one day? Also, if we do each on seperate days, are there enough attractions to keep us entertained from open to close?

Can you do both in one day during September? Probably. Do I recommend it? No.

Trying to do both in one day leads to rushing around and not really taking time to enjoy the parks for what they are.

Thats what I figured... I had been hearing mixed things from people, that Universal doesn't have enough attractions then I heard the same thing about Islands Of Adventure....

Yes. It's changed. A lot.

You definitely won't run out of things to do over 2 days. However, if you want to run yourself ragged (like we do on these types of "vacations"), then you can hit much of both parks in 1 day if it's not too crowded. Start in the WWOHP, then do the biggies in IoA, then head to US.

Two days fo sho'. It's not all about hitting every headliner at IOA then jogging over to USF and doing every headliner there. See the shows. Do all of the little experiences, such as watching the Blues Brothers sing in New York or watching a raptor hatch in IOA's Jurassic Park. The parks are full of fun little details and things to explore. You won't regret going! :)

I was originally planning two days for our first time ever at Universal but my daughter doesnt want to give up a second day when she can be at Disney. She really is only interested in HP and it's area and maybe Spiderman and we will be staying onsite so hopefully the express passes and early admission we will be able to do everything in basically a day that she wants to see. Planning on paying for two days of passes and seeng the evening shows the first day and whatever we can and then being there early for the extra hour to hit HP area the next morning and then Spiderman, the day we check out. Heard you can leave your stuff at the hotel desk and then pick it up later when we head over to Disney that afternoon/evening.

We will be there for 10 days so we have enough time to do it all! Two days at MK, one day at AK, HS, EP, and BB. Im looking forward to HP too, as well as seeing the Springfield expansion that just partially opened. Dont forget they are expanding HP world and that opens next year!

If you're interested in The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man, you should consider giving Transformers: The Ride-3D a try.

Holy smokes your gonna need two full days. September what by the way, HHN's starts in Sept week 3 and we should see a new ticket option this year for multi day visits with HHN access included.

Speaking of HHH... i never been i only seen video and pics. Yes it does look awesome and i love Halloween a lot. Is it worth going or is the Bush Gardens one better??

How old is your daughter out of curiosity? Since there is a lot for kids over 9 to do. ( lot more then Disney but that's IMO...)

You can manage both parks in one day if you have the express pass, but I recommend spending 2 days so that way you can tour at a comfortable pace.

If you're staying onsite at Universal when you're there it's great to go back to the room for a break during the afternoon and then you can return to the parks in the evening and experience what Citywalk has to offer. Another awesome thing was the early entry to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. That area seems to always be crowded and that extra hour really made a huge difference.

Two days is alright, but three days is ideal.

One day for both parks is only possible if you only do headliner attractions, no water rides, and move quickly. Even with express pass.
