Anyone have any word on if they will be doing this for the fall? Last September we stayed at a partner hotel and received 2 days of free dining at Uni and we're hoping they do it again this year. I'm not holding my breath, as they will be opening the new Harry Potter area shortly before, but our fingers are crossed.

Yeah, that's what we're thinking too, but we're not too concerned with having to pay out of pocket.

We're going late June and didn't even get a passholder rate on our room- paying RACK :mad: (still cheaper than Disney:rolleyes:). If I remember correctly discounts were few and far between when WWoHP opened in 2010. I would budget for out of pocket :)

Ok, so let me ask you this; is it worth buying the 2-day quick service plan, or is it better to just pay straight out of pocket?

The plan, not sure of the eaters in your family but my then 17 year son put a hurting on Uni's food budget those two days :)

If you have lighter eaters then OOP would be best. I mean it's like the DDP, the parks are at worst breaking even on it, they are not losing money compared to if you had paid OOP I think on most guest. It's more a convinvence thing for us. Oddly last summer we did Uni for a week and did not do the plan, not sure why but it just never happened that trip. I think because we wanted to do a lot of CityWalk dinning. If we had it all to do over again I would get the plan I think, heck the best meal we had there was in the park, that Irish place across from the Mummy ride was pretty good.

We did do the Pirate adventure on International Blvd, food was so so but the show was really cool. And we ate at Caribbean Breeze on International, that was a really good meal as well.

The meal at Bob Marley was a disappointment, the others I really don't remember.

well consider the following for the Quick meals;
1. Does not include drink :(
2. Eat as much as you want all day at some great food joints in the park :)
3. How many people are going
4. It costs about $20 [i think] (not bad deal)

I think we'll just pay out of pocket. The wife and kids aren't big breakfast eaters and we just hit up Cici's after we leave the parks.

we are vegan- so normally we have to eat at the table service places. Doesn't work for us. Like others said, if you have big eaters it works out pretty well.
