It does on the teams I have been on.
Why do you think the team tour segments and other rides are often trends of things that came before it. The industry like many are a constant practice.

So much so that the third time Transformers was built it was completed amazingly fast.

Bourne Stunt has tech in it that is directly related to aspects of Epic Universe Projects I am privy to.
Transformers was a very unique circumstance that involved repeating the mistakes and cutting out a lot of people usually involved in the process. The fourth iteration of Transformers took a lot longer. Universal Studios Beijing was not on course to be a quickly delivered project despite having a numbers of clones (that weren’t even the first clone) and using existing ride systems for new rides.

Having aspects of another project doesn’t make it a clone.

I have a femur. You have a femur. We aren’t clones of one another.
Terrible analogy that strays from the point. While not exact, a surgeon who operates on human femurs knows a lot better on how to fix a leg thru experience. The point being aspects are similar enough to not reinvent the wheel. The park will have both clones (if you read.my.post I stated both, you seem to only pulling from the second point with prototypes)
I have been a part of certain aspects of Epic Universe. Some things that are familiar saves R&D as well as handing things over to operations when the time comes. New things come up but it sure as heck helps. You don't even have to be an insider to believe or understand that.

Also, Mario Kart and most of the land is a "clone."

That comes from Beijing being a difficult situation to work with as they could not decide between multiple proposals of the kind of layout of a resort they wanted and then had to work with government struggles and then the pandemic.

Monsters is Robocoaster G2 - like FJ

Yoshi and Mario kart and Donkey Kong were developed and partially manufactured at the same time, regardless of location.

Hub and Dragon coaster whilst bespoke designs are not new coaster systems they're built on existing LSM ride types.

Potter ride(s) are new systems

But at the end of the day this is all moot because they are all going to be ready by or before June 2025. They have already begun work on five rides on site. And since certain items are sitting in a warehouse/on site (SNW) lands are going to shoot up really quick. It's an exciting time.

For the people that think this is not progressing, they forget what a new theme park looks like for a long time before things really pick up. Things are moving in place since the Covid pause. It makes sense, one has not been made since internet fan culture had constant and good coverage. So much of it early on is getting the infastructure right and this is a plot of land that is huge and not just a theme park.

They are also used to Disney's pace to clone attractions and building. A good amount of the major attractions for Epic Universe have had versions elsewhere and so much is created and housed as other things, such as infastructure are getting ready.
Six months before opening Main Street was still a hole in the ground :) A week before opening World Of Motion had no pre-show, Energy and Spaceship had yet to run at all!

Yeah im not sure why anyone thinks this hurts the two exsisting parks. Studios specifically more than IOA is likely to see TONs of investment after or during this project. They will have no excuse to not close or replace things.

We should be expecting an announcement for the upcoming D23 this year. After Cosmic Rewind and Tron, the only thing opening up is the Moana in Epcot which is not even a ride and Runaway Railway in Disneyland. They could expand more on the Disneyland Forward expansion but how about Disney World? I doubt it's a new park but I really have no idea anymore.

If they have something coming, they need to start construction by next year for it to open by 2025 when Epic U opens, knowing how slow Disney builds.

Also, with Bob and Josh not getting all the love, who do you think will be the main speaker in parks portion of D23?

What big new thing was Disney planning to open in 2023 or 2024?

Thank you. That was more my point.

The monsters ride is not the former Van Helsing Kuka like concept though. Unless something huge changed again.

As for Disney with the 2023 and 2024. Nothing huge on the WDW side of things besides Tron finally opening and Princess and The Frog after that if it finally happens. One a delayed opening and the other a retheme. So nothing really comparable.

Its nothing like the layout out for Van Helsing except the load, but it is a robocoaster

I see. I thought the Drac Castle portion of Monsters was cut and rearranged. I kind of wish aspects of the Bride of Frankenstein Drive in ride was legit happening though.

Eticket is as it was since 2019, strong possibility the theatre is gone and replaced with a rumoured coaster as that permit has not been issued/been rearranged. Alicia will be doing an update on this all soon

Ok. Same as last I heard then. Except the Ampitheater space was Nintendo Expansion pad.
