Universal considering a Wicked attraction?

Mr. Woodbury has still-secret plans for significant attractions themed to “Wicked,” another Universal movie. “When I saw it, my first reaction was, ‘This is a theme park waiting to happen,’” he said.

I think Oz will be an anchor land for Universal Studios Great Britain.

Universal can't use Potter in that park, so I think it would be pretty easy to swap it to Wicked. The look is very similar. Universal already has MinaLima, the company that does a lot of their Potter stuff, doing Wicked merchandise.

Does another theme park have Harry Potter rights to it there? In any case, this makes me happy as I infinitely prefer Wicked to HP, especially as we have more than enough HP lands as is

Warner Bros. has the Harry Potter Studio Tour which is only about a 45 minute drive from the park location. But I also wouldn’t get your hopes too high for seeing the Emerald City at opening day of the park.
