Universal sells merchandise, Disney does too. Neither destroys each other nor helps. If you're looking for more industries to compare Disney to look at sports teams for those who obviously want to skip out on the lack of Disney offerings to watch a ballgame and buy their merchandise. How about movies, video games, books, or anything else that has stuff to buy that pertains to entertainment?
