The best place to watch (in my opinion) is at the pier behind the Richter Burger Company; great, unobstructed views of the cinespheres and the Men in Black building (which is used for certain projection scenes). It's not the strongest of night shows (doesn't compare to any of Disney's) but is definitely worth seeing if you're enjoy classic movies, as a ton of them pop up in the show and it's fun to spot them all.

Its not nearly as good as the old stunt show they used to have in the lagoon, but its far better than the nothingness that was there before.
I say its worth a watch, its not one of those things you visit the park just to see, but if you're already there its worth watching.

You'll also be able to scout out viewing areas before the show. The images are broadcast on big sphere shaped screens in the lagoon. There's several of them. So you can figure out what locations offer better views of the screens. As someone else stated, they also use the building facades to shine different laser shows and the like on so its nice to get a good view of a sphere and MIB to see those best. I forget what the other location is that has the projections.

That'd be the New York facades along the lagoon, I believe. I recall the projections on Men in Black to be more impressive.
