Unique Proposal help

Hello, Like others in this forum, I am looking for some help/tips from the Disney community. I will be heading to WDW in a little less than a year. At that time, I am thinking of proposing to my girlfriend. I would appreciate any ideas that you think would make the proposal unique and special. Her favorite attraction is Pirates, not necessarily a "Princess girl," but does like Beauty and the Beast.

I have a few thoughts already:
1. The castle during Wishes. Yes that would be special, but I feel that so many others have done that and I want our proposal to be unique.

2. @ the Polynesian on the beach. To me this seems like the best place because I could have the wishes fireworks in the background and it would be special for us. My concerns are that I want to have pictures/video taken; which makes it hard for a candid proposal.

3. The wishing well behind the castle. I could have her make a wish and then ask her which would be neat, but I kinda feel that it would be random and out of place.

4. Have heard about the restaurant on top of the Contemporary.

Any ideas or tips would be a big help!

You could do it on Pirates! Right before you get to the drop, ask her to "take the plunge" with you. Getting photo of the moment wouldn't be easy, but you could always have photos done afterward by one of the Photopass photographers.

I was going to suggest this when I saw that she is a fan of Pirartes. You might try talking with some of the CMs early in the morning and see if there is anything they can do for you...

If she loves pirates, I would make an appointment at The Pirates League.

Make sure you go first so she can watch you take your pirate oath. Then, when it's her turn to take the oath, the CM can ask you to swear her into the league. Drop down on one knee and propose.

Do it on Pirates! We got engaged on Pirates b/c it's one of my favorite rides. Then she can be your pirate princess.

You could talk to one of the CMs earlier in the day and maybe right before they put you in a boat you can ask them to take a picture of you and do it then. Depending on how busy they are they'd probably even give you your own boat.
